2005年開始,華南理工大學機械與汽車工程學院陳揚枝教授,在前人研究的基礎上發明了空間曲線嚙合輪(Space Curve Meshing Wheel, SCMW)或稱微小彈性嚙合輪(Micro Elastic Meshing Wheel,MEMW)傳動機構。并且,他與合作者研究建立了空間曲線嚙合方程,并以此為基礎建立了SCMW設計的基本的理論柜架和計算公式,包括重合度計算公式、傳動比(包括最大和最小鉤桿數)計算公式、幾何尺寸計算公式等等;初步研究了基于數控加工技術的新型傳動輪鉤桿的靠模法制造方法及工藝。部分研究成果已經發表于《Journal of Mechanism and Machine Theory》、《Journal of Mechanical Design》、《Proceedings of 12th IFTOMM World Congress》等國際著名期刊和國際會議論文集,同時申請了幾項專利。SCMW是基于發明者建立的空間曲線嚙合理論、以空間曲線為接觸齒形的新型齒輪機構,它特別適合于微小空間內交叉軸間的連續傳動的要求,具有傳統齒輪無法比擬的一些特點,例如,它的單級傳動比可以大于12,最少齒數為4,其空間占用率(按體積計算)約為相同傳動比的圓錐齒輪副的1/8,因此,可望廣泛地應用于微小機械或微機械裝置。陳楊枝教授的發明為齒輪嚙合理論的研究開創了一個新的分支,SCMW的工業化應用將為未來齒輪行業的發展增添新的產品系列,帶來無法估量的經濟和社會效益。
共同發明彈性嚙合與摩擦耦合傳動機構
傳統的機械傳動方法有兩種,一種是嚙合傳動,另一種是摩擦傳動。1998年開始,陳揚枝作為第二發明人與黃平等發明并研究了彈性嚙合與摩擦耦合(Elastic Engagement and Friction Coupled, EEFC)傳動機構。陳揚枝教授主要研究了EEFC 帶傳動和小載荷EEFC輪傳動機構,作為第一作者在《Journal of Mechanism and Machine Theory》等國內外期刊上發表了一系列研究論文。
陳揚枝,1965年出生于福建尤溪,1986年6月畢業于天津大學機械制造本科專業;1995年獲工學博士學位于浙江大學機械學專業;2003-2004年間,他由國家公派在英國WARWICK大學納米技術與微工程研究中心(Center for Nanotechnology and Micro Engineering)做訪問學者一年。
